These birds like to be in groups. In the wild, they therefore live together in larger groups.

Once they find their partner, they stay with them for life. They have a life expectancy of approximately 60 years.

Nearly 50 percent of all parrot species are threatened, and almost 25 percent of species are critically endangered. This is due to capture from the wild and the destruction of their habitat.
